Payment of Sundries 2026/ 2027
As we prepare for the new school year, we would like to thank you for your continued support of our school community. We outline below details of funding provided to the school in relation to your sons learning and also the materials and resources which are not included in funding and for which we must ask your contribution.
The Department of Education is once again providing funding for the purchase of school books for all pupils for the school year 2026-2027. This money will be used to provide all pupils with all the books and copies needed during the school year.
The Department of Social Protection are also continuing to fund the Hot Meal Programme.
Not included in these schemes are the cost of the day to day running of the school, in other words, the cost of non-book expenses, which are incurred annually.
The items listed are essential to ensuring that your child and his classroom is properly resourced. With this parental contribution, we are able to provide a rich and varied academic experience. Without this assistance from pupils’ families the school is left with a significant shortfall. Payment for Sundries 2026 – 2027 – €65.00
In our endeavours to reduce the cost to parents, we have decided this year to give parents the option of taking out ‘pupil insurance’ for their child separately.
Allianz Pupil Insurance: from 1st September 2026 until 31st of August 2027
24-hour Pupil Insurance: claim for any accident/ emergency trip to Doctor or hospital, regardless if school related or not during the 2026/2027 school year.
Only children who opt-in and pay (via Aladdin) before 31st August 2026 will be insured under Allianz Pupil Insurance. More details available on www.Allianz.ie. Must be paid by 31st August 2026
