Five primary schools involved in SEP Digital: Creative Problem Solving and Digital Education in 21st Century Teaching, Learning and Assessment
We have teamed up with five schools to come up with new innovative ways to develop problem solving skills to aid our teaching learning and assessment.
- St. Kevin’s Boys’ School
- St. Kevin’s Girls’ School
- St. Olaf’s N.S.
- Holy Trinity N.S.
- St. Brigid’s N.S. in Redhills, Co. Cavan
The project allows for the use of new technologies such as Lego WeDo, BBC Microbits, iZac 9 cubes and BeeBots to develop our problem solving abilities. The schools have come together on numerous occasions to share their experiences, visited Microsoft to upskill in the areas of coding, and presented their learning and findings at the RDS Science Blast competition for the past two years.
